MPP@50 Tour of Israel and Jordan: July 2-15, 2018

Join the Madaba Plains Project and the Berrien County Historical Association for a journey of a lifetime. Renown archaeologists Dr. Larry Herr and Dr. Larry Geraty, invite you to accompany them as they return to Israel and Jordan. Visit Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus. Sail the waters of the Sea of Galilee in a replica of a “Jesus Wooden Boat”. Walk the streets of Old Jerusalem. Discover the fortress at Masada. Explore Jerash, the well-preserved Roman ruins in Jordan. See the three Madaba Plains archaeology sites and celebrate 50 years of partnership between Andrews University and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Tour Madaba, the city of mosaics. Be amazed as you walk through Petra – the famous city of stone.
